Rapidstick™ 8243 Threadlocker
Rapidstick™ 8243 Threadlocker is fast curing with medium strength for bonding and sealing threads of less active material, such as stainless steel and plated parts. It is ideal for fasteners with diameters between 6mm to 20mm (1/4″ to 3/4″), and is highly resistant to heat, vibrations, water, gases, oils, hydrocarbons, and many chemicals.
8243 locks and seals threaded joints, nuts, screws, and studs with improved oil resistance, and is specifically formulated to give controlled friction and torque/tension ratio during assembly. It performs best in thin bond gaps, and can also be used for the retaining of cylindrical parts.
